Are you interested in supporting organizations that use the arts to enhance social emotional learning in children and youth as a method to building inclusive and empathic communities where people of all cultures, points of view, beliefs and differences are respected and value? If yes, we have a great opportunity for you!

Changing Worlds’ is seeking new board members to join our successful civic, community
and corporate leaders in contributing time, resources, expertise and leadership, in an
effort to govern our organization, and ensure that it works to fulfill its mission.
Our unique programing approach integrates cultural, family, and community histories
with writing and the arts in hopes to help participants explore their own backgrounds,
promote peace, and learn about others while strengthening their academic and arts
learning skills. We work toward our mission through separate yet interconnected program areas.

We are seeking persons of all ages and ethnic backgrounds, who have one or
more of the following skill sets:

 Strong Financial Experience
 Marketing Expertise and/ or Extensive Networking Capabilities
 Non-profit Management and/ or Legal Experience
 Background in Education Policy, Administration and the Arts
 Executive level corporate experience
 The Capacity and Inclination to "Both Give and Get"

Changing Worlds has reached a major milestone of 25+ years and is now engaging new partners, leaders and contributors to our mission. Join the Changing Worlds Board of Directors as we lead the organization into the next 25 years of providing arts, literacy and cross cultural programming to the under-served communities of Chicago.
