Join our Dedicated Volunteers.

Seeking a volunteer who is great at data management and enjoys use of an online fundraising program. Experience with the online program "Network for Good" a plus. Or we would train you to you to use the program. Data-Technology Administrator Specialist - You will cultivate, steward, and expand relationships between the organization and donors at all levels, by providing extraordinary service to clients.

Plus requires a special ability to understand people's feelings.


Just out of college? We welcome you!!
Use the Donor Management program, Network for Good. Train and be on a team of 2 people,
Excellent verbal skills, positive communicator, maintaining and managing donor information.

This is a virtual opportunity but it will help if you live in the Bay Area so that we can meet in person occasionally. Working virtually on an online program with good communication also works.

Your main tasks will be to:
Join with another team member, inputting new data, updates, transfer data from Quickbooks into Network for Good.
You can also input new contacts into our Quickbooks online.

Schedule & create E-mail communications, E-blasts with pictures, create and email donor acknowledgements
This requires ability to write catchy announcements and descriptions. You will also learn fundraising/ marketing by doing this program.
We will set up a list of scheduled deadlines for each step,
dates for emails to go out and
what the content will be.
Photos, stories and news will be provided or if you are a writer you can write these.

After an event,

- Input event attendees.
- email thank you's
-Learn to make filters, plan communications, coordinate with deadlines.
With the ED,and team leader, create and schedule exciting communications.

Qualifications:
- Detail Oriented. ExpertTech-ie: Easy use of Technology: create, schedule, and send communications
- A strong desire to learn, experience, and gain satisfaction for job well done.
- Knowledge of security programs and computers.
- Writing, corresponding ability
- There is a place in the file to ask questions of support and they will answer you.
Instructions how to do something. This can be a really fun program to operate.

- 18 or older, team player
- Follow through, and a pleasure to work with.

Golden Gate Opera, (GGO) proudly celebrates its 28th Anniversary year in 2023, Transforming lives with Opera . Winner of National Endowment for the Arts and California Arts Council Grant Award, 2016 for premiere of "Lincoln-The African American Connection", 2017 -West Coast Premiere of Anti-Bullying one-act for children - Menotti's "The Boy Who Grew Too Fast". GGO professional singers collaborate with children choruses and Musica Marin chamber orchestra of musicians from SF Opera, SF Symphony and SF Ballet for glorious realization creating a better life for children. Volunteers help with auditions, marketing, refreshments, graphic design, greet audience and guests.
