Upslope Volunteers 2

Downtown Longmont is going for Zero Waste at the final Downtown Summer Concert for this season, next Friday, August 25th! Downtown Longmont will feature great live music from local and regional artists and allow guests to sample great local food and beverages from downtown businesses while they dance the night away!

Eco-Cycle and the Downtown Longmont team will be working hard to divert all event waste from the landfill, and their success hinges on volunteers like YOU to help out! Volunteering at a Zero Waste Event is fun and easy. You'll work as a Zero Waste Station "Goalie," making sure event-goers put their waste in the right place. You'll also help out with setting up or breaking down zero waste stations if needed. This is a great opportunity to educate the public about Zero Waste, while attending a fun event!

Volunteers are needed for two shifts: 6:00 PM to 7:45 PM and 7:45 PM to 9:30 PM.

To volunteer to work Zero Waste for this event, please signup and feel free to contact Bill Germain at Eco-Cycle with any questions: < bill@ecocycle.org>.
