Release Your Inner Librarian

The Jefferson County Public Library’s Library 2 You needs volunteers to prep the bookmobile for its rounds: stock the shelves, re-shelve items, pull items to fulfill holds, choose assortments for Home Service patron orders, and for special projects.

Some lifting and pushing of carts is involved. Working behind the scenes with library staff, you help to take the vital library experience outside the walls of our buildings and into the wider community.


Commitment: Once a week or bi-weekly in the mornings; we are flexible. Highest priority is Monday morning!

A JCPL library card is the key to a network of 10 libraries and a Bookmobile, in addition to a vast collection of books, magazines, CDs and DVDs, as well as programs, computers, downloadables, and Internet resources.
