Volunteer Graphic

Should you choose to except this mission, you would be be joining the ranks of other volunteer super heroes for an EPIC overhaul of our school library cataloging system.

WePAC has a goal to implement DESTINY, a new library management tool that will digitize the cataloging and check-in/out process, by September 2016.

Our school libraries have thousands of wonderful books that need to be entered into the online system. This would be an excellent opportunity for a league of volunteer super heroes to come in and make a big difference in the libraries we operate!

Never used DESTINY, no problem...all volunteer super heroes will be trained on site. If you can operate a computer then you can learn the DESTINY system quickly. We have a host of volunteer opportunities for this project, so don't be shy...APPLY!

Philadelphia student’s are the super heroes of tomorrow and deserve a modern library experience, where books are both abundant and easily accessed. Our vision, of every Philadelphia student being empowered with the literacy skills vital to the success of the child and the prosperity of our community, can become a reality with your help.
