The Hope Garden at the St. Francis Food Pantry grows produce for our visitors to the food pantry. The staff and volunteers at the food pantry saw a need to provide a more reliable supply of fresh, healthy food to our clients and decided 2 years ago to start Hope Garden as a way to strengthen the healthy food options for those visiting our pantry.
The Hope Garden grows berries and a large variety of vegetables each summer and early fall. Our garden is planted and crops are growing! We need volunteers to spend about 45 minutes to an hour, one day per week, harvesting the current bounty. The time of day can be at your convenience!
