Do you enjoy meeting and talking to people? Guest Services volunteers play a key role as they are the first personal interaction a visitor experiences during their visit. We are looking for friendly faces to volunteer in our beautiful lobby greeting visitors, handling admissions and assisting with sales in our Nature Store & Gift Shop. We have several openings Wednesday through Sunday from either 9:00 am - 1:00 pm or 1:00 - 5:00 pm. The best candidates will have strong people and customer service skills and attention to detail. Being comfortable or willing to be trained to use a multi-line phone and computerized cash register system is a plus. One-on-one training and orientation provided. This position is part of a 2-person Guest Services team.

Description
Aullwood is one of the first nature centers in the Midwest. We are a 200-acre nature sanctuary and sustainable farm about 3 miles west of Dayton International Airport. Aullwood is one of 41 Nature Centers within the National Audubon Society network and focuses on protecting and promoting birds and their habitats as well as rare livestock breeds. We offer conservation, environmental and sustainable agricultural education programs through hands-on activities and outdoor exploration for people of all ages.
