ORGANIZATION: Community Computer Alliance

The Community Computer Alliance is looking for a website management intern! CCA is a Columbus-based nonprofit organization focusing on job development for individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities through an e-waste recycling program. We’re looking for an intern interested in gaining real-world job experience through:

  • Managing our WordPress website
  • Working with website backups
  • Managing website membership plugin’s
  • Working with intern team and executive director to update and manage website calendar

Skills You Will Gain Working at CCA:

  • Website structure and content development
  • Website backup methods
  • Marketing calendar management
  • Marketing materials development
  • Organizational promotion
  • Data entry
  • Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.)
  • Customer service

As our Website Manager you will be in charge of helping us maintain good communication with people interested in CCA. Without these things, we will not be able to step forward and give more to the community.

Qualifications:

  • Must be able to have transportation
  • Must have basic computer knowledge
  • Must have fundamental website development skills

To get the most out of the internship experience, we require a 4-6 month commitment to the program.

Community Computer Alliance (CCA) is a 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization that empowers individuals, improves our communities, and aids in conserving our world - one computer at a time. CCA provides workforce development and job readiness opportunities for individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities through our strategic partnerships. Our job readiness program is directly fueled by our licensed and bonded electronic recycling services, which provides career assessment opportunities and long-term internships to individuals who are interested in learning more about technology-a skill that is highly marketable, but unattainable to adults with disabilities. Participants in our program learn job discovery, team work, and personal growth to promote future employment opportunities.
