IF YOU HAVE ONE HOUR A WEEK, YOU CAN TOUCH THE LIFE OF SOMEONE FACING END OF LIFE! HELP ALLEVIATE THEIR FEAR, THEIR LONLINESS. HOLD A HAND, HAVE A CONVERSATION, TAKE THE RESIDENT OUTSIDE ON A PRETTY DAY, SHARE A LAUGH......
WE NEED VOLUNTEERS IN TROY, PIQUA, GREENVILLE, ENGLEWOOD, AND CENTENNIAL PARK.
I WILL ALWAYS MEET YOU AT THE LOCATION OF YOUR CHOICE AND AT THE TIME OF YOUR CHOICE!!!! YOU WILL SEE RESIDENTS AT OUR FACILITIES, IN THEIR APARTMENTS (NOT IN THE COMMUNITY). DUE TO THIS, WE NEED BACKGROUND CHECK, DRUG SCREEN AND FINGERPRINTING BUT WE PAY FOR ALL OF IT AND I WALK YOU THROUGH EACH STEP! I WILL BE WITH YOU THROUGH THE ENTIRE PROCESS.
PLEASE CONSIDER DONATING AN HOUR A WEEK TO BRING A SMILE TO SOMEONE FACING THE END OF THEIR LIFE ON THIS EARTH.
