Our volunteers are an integral contribution to the overall mission of Global Gallery. Volunteer responsibilities will include a variety of tasks, including daily operations of the coffee shop. Daily operations tasks include cleaning, merchandising and displaying products, inventory checks, etc.. At the Coffee Shop, volunteers help with cleaning, merchandising products, and food/drink preparation. Volunteers interact with customers, answer questions, and advocate for Global Gallery and Fair Trade. In addition to daily operations, volunteers will also have a number of other opportunities. For example, Global Gallery participates in a number of festivals and special events throughout the year, which always requires additional help. In addition, as volunteers spend more time with the organization, we are able to match you with specific projects and tasks in line with your specific interests and talents, such as event planning, social media, writing, and marketing. Every single task helps Global Gallery improve the lives of the many artisans we work with. These artisans depend upon the income generated from the products we sell for them, so maintaining the store and increasing our sales is imperative to the continued success of our mission.

Mission Statement
Global Gallery is dedicated to promoting Fair Trade handcrafted products from around the world while developing cultural enrichment through educational workshops and social events.
Description
Global Gallery was established in the Short North Arts District of Columbus, Ohio in 1991. Four local churches came together to support artisans and farmers through marketing Fair Trade products. As a non-profit marketplace, it has since served as Central Ohio's foremost international arts and handcrafts organization. Global Gallery provides a venue for underserved art forms, extending financial support to artists within Ohio and from around the globe.
Global Gallery over the years has been located in multiple locations in an effort to deepen the organization’s connection to the community. Global Gallery currently has one location, in the Clintonville area of Columbus, Ohio. In this location we have a local fair trade coffee shop and a space for local artists from international backgrounds to showcase their talent and bring a piece of their culture to our community.
