ORGANIZATION: CASA of Santa Barbara County

Joshua

Abused & neglected children in Santa Maria and Lompoc are waiting to be matched with a CASA volunteer...

Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) for Children recruits, trains and supports citizen-volunteers, like YOU to advocate for the best interests of abused and neglected children in courtrooms and communities. Volunteer advocates--empowered directly by the courts--offer judges the critical information they need to ensure that each child’s rights and needs are being recognized and respected while in foster care.

Volunteers are matched one-on-one with a child and stay in contact with that child until they are reunited with their family or placed in loving permanent forever home. For many abused children living in the foster care system a CASA volunteer is the only constant adult presence in their lives.

If you are ready to make a once in a lifetime difference for a child in need, CASA is the right volunteer opportunity for you. Contact us today to attend one of our information sessions.

Children are waiting!
