Lights, Camera, Action! Do you have an iPhone, will travel - are you the new Spielberg or the mom with the best dance recital videos around? Are your steady-handed videos anticipated by your Facebook friends? You can play an important role in helping our homeless pets find their forever home! We need you! Our videographer volunteers visit our boarding facilities, foster home or adoption events to take short videos of our pets and upload the videos to YouTube. Potential adopters get a better perspective seeing the pet interact with people, animals or show off commands they know. Volunteer videography is needed every week for new animals, but scheduling is flexible and fits in with busy schedules. Applicants must be local to the Dallas area.

Mission Statement
Paws In The City is an all-volunteer nonprofit 501(c) 3 organization committed to ending the abuse, neglect and overpopulation of Dallas area dogs and cats. Our goal is that every adoptable dog and cat get a loving home. By providing money for spay/neuter and increasing the adoption rate, we take the first step in making Dallas a no kill city.
Description
- Paws In The City has spent over 5 years rescuing and healing the abused, neglected and abandoned dogs and cats of our community. We focus on rescuing dogs and cats from the City of Dallas municipal shelter because they must euthanize almost 30,000 animals every year. We hope to make a difference.
- We currently do not have a shelter, but utilize foster homes and boarding facilities to board the animals in our care until a forever home can be found. Therefore we do not have employee or shelter related costs. Every dollar raised goes to foster, adoption, training, medical and spay/neuter programs.
Programs
**Rescuing, fostering and adopting dogs and cats through our foster and adoption programs
** Providing a Medical Assistance Fund which offers the public help with expensive surgeries or treatments that they could not afford on their own (for qualified applicants only)
