* Create opportunities to connect the campus community to local K-12 initiatives

* Promote a college going culture for first-generation students at the Family of Schools (Harrison Park K-8, Westwood Middle School, and Union High School)

* Facilitate three primary opportunities for Davenport students and staff (1) HEROES Mentoring Program - mentoring middle schools students (2) Challenge Scholar Program - support, motivation, and tools to prepare middle school students and their families for college (3) DU CARES Partnership - creating new volunteer opportunities for students and making the Davenport community more aware of local nonprofits

* Plan and manage Davenport’s four annual Days of Service: Panther Prowl, Make a Difference Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, and Into the Streets
