Our Volunteers provide assistance that enhance the comfort and
quality of life for our patients, their families and caregivers.
We are looking for Volunteers that can give Emotional
support and companionship to our patients. To read to them, play a game or cards, write a letter, listen to music, watch TV or just share memories with them.
Volunteers are needed to help plan activities for Group Homes,
as well as Event, Music and Pet Therapy Volunteers.
We are looking for Volunteers of all Ages as well as Veteran Volunteers.
Valley Hospice of Arizona cares for patients in their own homes,
Group Homes and Assistant Living Facilities.
Our patients are located Valley-wide especially East Valley.
We are looking for Volunteers that are caring and would like to spend time with our patients. Can you be a good listener or just hold someone’s hand? Can you spare an hour a week? Are you that Caring Person we are looking for?

Description
Who We Are
Valley Hospice of Arizona & Palliative Care provides compassionate round the clock end of life care. We support both patient and family/legal guardian and relieve suffering in all realms (physical, emotional and spiritual). Most of our services are available in the patient home. We serve families everyday throughout out Mesa and it’s surrounding areas.
When people are at the end of life, they want comfort, peace and love. Their loved ones want support, guidance and security knowing they have someone to call for help round the clock. Members of our hospice team will be there to support you all the way.
Care Team consist of:
- Doctor
- Registered Nurse
- Nurse Practitioner
- Social Worker
- Certified Nursing Assistant
- Chaplain
- Volunteers
- Bereavement Counselors
We have specialized care for specific stages of life limiting illnesses, support for their family and caregivers, integrative therapies including massage, music, pet therapy and care.
