Do you want to be a part of building girls of courage, confidence and character? Are you looking for a volunteer opportunity to serve as a role model for girls? Girl Scout Troop leadership is for you!
As a Girl Scout Troop Leader, you will lead a troop (along with one other adult) through troop meetings, earning badges, attending events and will serve as a role model to the girls. Every girl who wants to experience Girl Scouts should have that opportunity and we need Girl Scout troop leaders to fulfill their desire!
The time commitment is a minimum of 1 year (August through June), meeting with the girls 2 times per month for an hour.
Troop leaders choose the day and time of the meetings, offfering flexibility to your volunteerism.
Prior Girl Scouts experience is not necessary. We offer continual training and support.
