The Hampton Hawkeyes Pop Warner Association has been serving the peninsula for 7 years. Providing football and cheerleading for youth ages 5 - 12. We are a competitive program and our association does travel throughout the Hampton Roads area. We are currently seeking experienced cheer coaches willing to volunteer for our 2016 for all age groups. Experienced coaches are preferred but not required to participate with our program. Coaches will be required to complete a mandatory YCADA certification and should have evening flexibility from July until October. During the month of August, we practice daily, Monday thru Friday. Practice schedule will be modified once school begins. Additionally, all volunteers for our program are required to complete a background check would is conducted by the association as a safeguard for the youth that we serve.

Description
Hampton Hawkeyes Pop Warner Association (HHPWA) is an association of the Pop Warner Little Scholars, Inc., a non-profit organization that provides youth football, cheer, and dance programs for participants in 42 states and several countries around the world. We inspire youth to practice the ideals of sportsmanship, scholarship, and physical fitness, as well as giving back to the community. The Hampton Hawkeyes Pop Warner Association started at the ground level in 2010 in an effort to bring national recognition for the athletic and academic achievements of the youth of the Virginia Peninsula.
