Interested in supporting the arts in our community? Become a gallery sitter volunteer at the Summit Artspace.
As a gallery sitter volunteer you mostly have to greet visitors when they enter, answer general questions (hours, days open, etc.) and make sure the art stays in the gallery : )
Most gallery sitter volunteers, volunteer 4-6 times a year. (Once per exhibition.) Generally the volunteer will sit in our gallery for about 3.5 hours. We provide free wifi, snacks, and drinks. You can bring your own book, laptop or work on creating your own art. But if you need to finish some volunteer hours quickly - we can help you out with that request too.
We can provide proof of volunteering (formal letter on our letterhead) and we are a non-profit organization. We look forward to hearing from you!
Hours: Thursdays & Fridays 12 -7pm
Saturdays 12 -5pm, but on Artwalks 12 - 9pm
