STW(tm) is a U.S.-based nonprofit organization whose mission is to conduct water research to identify and remove harmful contaminants in water; and to raise public awareness about water contamination and its health impacts. STW also offers educational programs to excite young minds about water science.
Our volunteers are diverse professionals from all over the world bringing their knowledge and experience to STW because we care deeply about our communities and water resources. Save the Water(tm) is seeking a Marketing Associate Director: Online Marketing who supports the Marketing Group by managing a team of volunteers in the area of online marketing and brand development by coordinating marketing campaigns, communicating the organization's purpose and activities, as well as developing and promoting the mission.
Associate Directors are expected to put in a minimum of 10 hours per week and be responsive to emails within three (3) calendar days.Primary Responsibilities:
Manage, on average, 2-5 volunteers within the online marketing team.
Plan and conduct monthly team meeting, including sending agenda, taking meeting minutes, and follow up.
Responsible for managing online marketing campaigns to promote organizational events, causes and awareness efforts. Determines target audience, coordinated campaign, and launches online campaign to create buzz or generate membership growth.
Ensure marketing message is conveyed clearly and delivered properly to prospects.
Proofread communications for brevity, clarity, grammar, and spelling.
Develop communication personalization strategy.
Utilize graphics, incentives, and detailed descriptions.
Include persuasive 'call-to-actions' in advertisements and promotions.
Track and analyze direct and interactive marketing campaigns.
Use statistical analysis and reports to create campaigns.
Provide monthly report of your team’s progress to the Director of Marketing.
Attend monthly Marketing group meeting.
Complete the PWR audit for the Project Leaders each month
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects and details simultaneously.
Requires self-direction, tact, diplomacy and a clear, courteous and professional manner when dealing with the public.
Must demonstrate effective oral communication skills and the ability to work cooperatively with staff inside and outside of the department.
Demonstrated excellence in organizational, managerial, and communication skills
Associate degree (or currently enrolled in degree program) or comparable work experience
