Prison Recovery Network is preparing to launch a pilot we're calling the Prison Art Project. The Prison Art Project will allow men and women to contribute to their families and to repay their victims while still in prison!
We have created a legal framework which works to everyone's advantage. Prisoners donate their works to the program, we sell those works and use the proceeds to repay victim restitution and child support. The prisoners get the satisfaction of being able to contribute meaningfully to their families and victims. Families and victims begin to receive support that might never have come otherwise, 5% is returned as a donation to inmate program funds at each Artists' institution, and 15% remains with the Prison Recovery Network to support on-going operations.
We've got most of the framework in place - Have you ever wanted to be at the forefront of social innovation? Call or email now!
