It's that time of year again at Indiana Historical Society....it's time for Concerts on the Canal!!
We'd love your support! We are currently looking for the following roles:
- 4 greeters -4pm-8:30pm
Will greet guests and refer to table assignment list to help guests to their tables. Will be provided with information on IHS and Museum Nights to answer questions regarding current and upcoming events. Assist with minimal setup and tear down
- 6 table directors (plaza) 4pm-8:30pm
Will help guests on the plaza. Assist with minimal setup and tear down

Since 1830, the Indiana Historical Society has been Indiana’s Storytellerâ„¢, connecting people to the past by collecting, preserving, interpreting and disseminating the state's history. A private, nonprofit membership organization, IHS maintains the nation's premier research library and archives on the history of Indiana and the Old Northwest. IHS also provides support and assistance to local museums and historical groups, publishes books and periodicals; sponsors teacher workshops; and provides youth, adult and family programming.

History should not be viewed-it should be experienced. You can help make a real connection with the past by volunteering at the Eugene and Marilyn Glick Indiana History Center. From interacting with our guest to working with our historic collections, IHS has a great volunteer opportunity that is right for you.
