Educate health care professionals about Alzheimer's disease and related dementia's, programs and services available to their patients and caregivers, and how to make referrals to the Alzheimer's Association as needed, by conducting telephone calls and meetings.
Volunteers must go through a 2-hour Volunteer Orientation and must shadow a Chapter staff employee, or seasoned volunteer, on a site visit, to complete the full training.
The Chapter is need of volunteers who live in, or are willing to travel to, the eight counties of WNY. If you live in ERIE, NIAGARA, GENESSEE, ORLEANS, CHAUTAUQUA, CATTARAUGUS, WYOMING and ALLEGANY County, we NEED your help!
