Providing compassion and caring, while striving to enhance the quality of life for those with life-limiting illnesses and their loved ones is our mission at Heart to Heart Hospice. Our Goal is to allow patients to rejoice in the lives of their loved ones and share positive memories of the legacy that they are leaving behind. At Heart to Heart Hospice we try to go beyond the expectations of our patients and their families to provide them with compassionate, personalized care and emotional and spiritual support. We believe in a plan for living that will enable patients to spend their remaining time pain-free and with dignity. We believe that all eligible patients, regardless of the complexity of their needs, should be able to receive the comprehensive care that they deserve. We strive to make a difference in the lives of others and treat each individual with respect and compassion, while improving the quality standards associated with end-of-life care.

Description

Heart to Heart Hospice has a variety of volunteers that possess different skills and talents needed to assist both patients and their loved ones, while providing support to our interdisciplinary team. The scope of work will be determined by the hospice program and the services that each program offers to patients and family members. Tasks may include providing hands-on care to patients with life-limiting illnesses and their loved ones, handling administrative work in the office, driving patients to appointments, helping teach bereavement support classes, or providing professional services.
