MSA HOSPICE, with a widespread presence in hometowns throughout South Carolina, we strive to offer our patients the very best in all that we do. That's why we need you. Our volunteers are among the best and we're proud to have such an outstanding team within the community. And, as patient needs increase, so does the need for additional volunteers. We hope that you'll consider becoming part of a team that provides Direct Patient Care to patients. You can give something that everyone needs: companionship and emotional support. Visit patients in their homes or in nursing facilities - you choose. If you have other hospice interests, we also do group and one on one activities, incorporating pet therapy, music, storytelling and more. Please consider sharing your time and talents. It's as fun as it is rewarding. We'll give you all the tools you need. We provide training and and mileage reimbursement. Please consider giving a few hours a month in the areas of patient care, administrative or special projects (Do you sing or sew, play an instrument, do construction of ramps, like to play Santa? Do you like chocolate? Are you a Veteran who would be willing to help other Veterans? These are just some special projects that we offer patients.) We welcome school and college students to intern with us. Our geographic needs include counties of Newberry, Saluda, Lexington and Union. For more information, please contact Theresa Halfacre, Volunteer Coordinator, at 803-321-0341. Thank you.
