Hospice Volunteers Needed - Because Someone You Know Needs Hospice

Cause Areas

It's flexible! We'll work with your schedule.

180 Commerce DriveNewberry, SC 29108

Would you like to be part of Hospice Care of Tri-County? We would love for you to volunteer with us and be part of our team that provides Direct Patient Care to patients. You can help give something that everyone needs: companionship. Visit patients in their homes or in nursing facilities - you choose. We also do group and one on one activities, incorporating pet therapy, music, storytelling and more. Please consider your talents and how they might help someone who needs someone like you. It's as fun as it is rewarding. We'll give you all the tools you need. We provide training and and mileage reimbursement. Please consider giving a few hours a month in the areas of patient care, administrative or special projects (Do you sew, play an instrument, do construction of ramps, like to play Santa? Are you a Verteran who would be willing to help other Veterans? These are just some special projects that we offer patients.) We welcome school and college students to intern with us. Our geographic needs include the cities and counties of Newberry, Saluda, and Greenwood. For more information, please contact Theresa Halfacre, Volunteer Coordinator, at 803-321-0341. Thank you.
