Be a part of the evening as we all enjoy the outdoors with great music at Naper Settlement's annual Naper Nights Community Concert Series, Friday, July 20, 2018 and Saturday, July 21, 2018!

Friday Night:

The Fortunate Sons 6-7:30 PM
The Fortunate Sons are the world's greatest tribute to America's greatest band: Creedence Clearwater Revival. Using original vintage gear and instruments, accurate costumes, and spot-on musical ability, The Fortunate Sons instantly conjure up the full experience of the best CCR songs.

Turn The Page 7:45-10 PM
A tribute to Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band, Turn The Page faithfully recreates all the "Classic" Bob Seger Hits. You will feel as though you’ve been transported back to Detroit’s Cobo Hall as you relive "Old Time Rock and Roll", "Night Moves", "Against The Wind", "Turn the Page", the way they were meant to be experienced....Live, on the concert stage!

Saturday Night:

Simply Elton with The Brown Dirt Cowboys 6-7:30 PM
"Simply Elton" is the brainchild of Brian Harris, a classically trained pianist/keyboardist and jazz veteran (yet with the heart of a rock & roller!). The band honors the music of Sir Elton John with the perfect blend of energy, great vocals, and pianistic fireworks!

Natural Wonder 7:45-10 PM
Natural Wonder is a spectacular touring concert show designed to take the glorious music and live experience of legendary musician Stevie Wonder to all generations of fans. Led by #1 Billboard Artist/Producer Gabriel Bello, Natural Wonder is The Ultimate Stevie Wonder Experience!

Come join us for fun, food, music and history at Naper Settlement! Simply complete a volunteer application to begin the process (available on sign up site, see below). All volunteers must have one on file before their shift.

Volunteers must be at least 16 years old. Note: volunteers under 18 are required to submit a new form for each event.Volunteers under 18 will be unable to participate without parent/guardian signature.

New volunteers will receive a summer season t-shirt at check-in and all volunteers will receive dinner. Please email nsvolunteer@naperville.il.us with questions.

Description

Naper Settlement is a history museum that serves northeastern Illinois as a unique educational and cultural resource. Through its costumed interpreters and 30 historic buildings located on the 13-acre grounds, history is brought to life with educational and hands-on activities for 150,000 visitors each year.

Naper Settlement is just steps away from downtown Naperville. Open year-round, museum provides fun and interactive learning opportunities for all ages. Become a part of our community as we portray and compare daily life from pioneer to Victorian to modern times.
