Here at SNAPPY we are always looking for volunteers to assist us in providing great play and activity experiences for children and young people with disabilities. We run a Saturday scheme, for school aged children and young people with disabilities, a Senior scheme for adults with disabilities on a Thursday evening, and playschemes in both the Easter and Summer holidays.

Volunteer Playworkers at Snappy have a number of responsibilities; they are expected to build strong relationships with young people who face a number of challenges in terms of physical disability and learning difficulties. They are also tasked with engaging and supporting those children and young people through a wide variety of tasks and activities.

Volunteers will undertake an induction and have access to a wide variety of external training for free. A DBS check is essential but we can complete it here if you have not had one completed previously.
