We are currently looking for volunteers at our shelter serving women and children recently released from family detention.

  • Morning/Afternoon volunteers - Welcome families, Help with chores (laundry, prepare beds, dishes, etc.), Make sure they have rides to airport or bus station, Take them to La Casita to pick out clothes if needed.
  • Drivers - on call drivers that take families to the airport or bus station.

  • Shelter - Volunteer at shelter serving women and children recently released from family detention/Drive Families to Bus Station/Airport
  • Visitation - Get Resources, support, and information to visit immigrant in detention
  • Advocacy - Advocate or the END of family detention
