No One Left Behind is seeking Driving Coach Manager for the San Francisco East Bay Chapter

No One Left Behind serves Afghan combat interpreters and combat support personnel who were promised asylum in the U. S. after serving in the Afghan war. Today, they are being forced to leave their homes in Afghanistan due to real threats by the Islamic State and Taliban for working for the US military. These refugees, who risked their lives and those of their families for our troops, arrive each week in the US unemployed with few funds and no household goods. Our mission is to provide them with the support to start a successful life in the US.

Many good jobs require our clients to have a driver's license to get a job; most of the refugees were drivers in Afghanistan and/or Iraq, but need to brush up their skills in preparation for the behind-0the-wheel DMV driving test. A driving instructor would use their own car to take clients to parking lots to asses their skills and progress to street and freeway driving, parallel parking skills, and signal recognition. Most insurance carriers cover any driver of your car, but you would need to check with your carrier.
