Job description:We are looking for a volunteer to update our social media sites on a daily to weekly basis, depending on the site. Position involves posting weekly photos from Henderson County Build Days, or other special events, on Flickr, updating our Facebook page with postings, videos, photos, and current events, and more! The position also involves following and posting on social media sites of relevant organizations. The goal of this position is to increase our supporters while engaging in a meaningful discussion with them, thus increasing their dedication to our mission of building affordable housing. .
Skills: Potential volunteer(s) should be familiarized with the most popular social media platforms. The ideal candidate should not need training on how to use basic social media sites.
Time commitment: Varies by week. The volunteer can do most of the work from home, if desired, however we do require to meet with the volunteer at least once per week to plan social media posts.
