We are currently looking for a detail-oriented, creative, high-energy volunteer ready to assist in the development and implementation of community outreach services. This volunteer should be able to promote available resources through local media and business partnerships as well as be prepared to actively engage community members who are currently in need. This is a one year full time volunteer commitment.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Community Outreach: Assist in creating partnerships with local community leaders to support community health. Develop and implement programs with local schools, businesses, and community organizations. Develop responsive strategies for community needs.

Public Relations: Work with local businesses to promote community engagement. Increase awareness of community needs and available resources.

Community Advocate: Conduct home visits as needed. Explain healthcare resources and available assistance. Transport clients. Attend community meetings.

OTHER INFO
Bilingual (Spanish) a plus. Driver's license and active car insurance with liability coverage required. Public Relations experience a plus.

We provides volunteers with the opportunity to serve those in need while also developing professionally and personally through our unique retreat program.
