Volunteers help individuals and families who are homeless or low-income fill out applications online and apply for benefits through the Colorado PEAK website. Shift options are M, W and F from 9am until 11am; volunteers usually commit to helping out at least once each month.

Description
Homeward Alliance (formally Homeless Gear) is a Fort Collins-based nonprofit that provides a continuum of services to individuals and families who are homeless or - in some cases - at risk of becoming homeless: supplies that help them survive in the short-term, connections to resources in the interim and links to employment, housing and self-sufficiency in the long-term.
