Join MINDDRIVE as a volunteer for a special outdoor showcase of innovation and education in the heart of Kansas City! We will be bringing cutting-edge technology to attendees with events focused in three areas: drones, electric vehicles and STEM based activities.
We have several opportunities for you to join a special event committee or help at the event. Details about each committee are listed in separate posts.
The event: FutureFest is projected to take place in June of 2018 at Swope Park. Each committee will meet as needed in preparation for the event. One time volunteers will assist in various ways during the event.
Volunteers are needed for the following committees:
- Fundraising
- Tech Auction
- VIP Pre-Event Planning
- Graphic Design
- Publicity
- Media Relations/ Advertising
- Social Media/ Web Advertising
- Day of Collateral
- Media Sponsor Recruitment
- Youth/ Family Area
- Parking
- Volunteer Management (Day of Event)
Event day volunteers needed for:
- Set-up/Tear down
- Assisting with various activity areas
- Greeters
- Parking
- Volunteer management

Description
MINDDRIVE is a stand alone 501(c)3 educational program that offers after school classes for high school aged students from the greater metropolitan area of Kansas City. The program provides project-based learning and one-on-one mentor involvement with the students. Mentors are hand picked to offer the highest possible contribution as related to their professional expertise that pertains to the topics of the class. Our classes include: Automotive Design Studio, Welding, 3D CAD, Digital Creativity in Communication, Computer Coding and more.
