The Relay For Life of Atwater is in need of volunteers to help plan the 2016 event. There are many opportunities from recruitment of participants to logistics the day of the event. Our Event Leadership Team meets once a month and, if necessary, you may attend a second, Team Captain, meeting. We are all volunteers and value your time. What Is Relay For Life?
Each year, more than 4 million people in over 20 countries raise much-needed funds and awareness to save lives from cancer through the Relay For Life movement. During a Relay event, participants and survivors celebrate what they've overcome. We remember people lost to the disease, and honor people who have fought or are fighting cancer. The event inspires Relay participants to take action against a disease that has taken too much.

The American Cancer Society Relay For Life movement is the world's largest and most impactful fundraising event to end cancer. It unites communities across the globe to celebrate people who have battled cancer, remember loved ones lost, and take action to finish the fight once and for all. With the support of thousands of volunteers like you, the American Cancer Society is helping save more than 500 lives a day.
The Relay For Life of Atwater is the local fundraising event bring together the community to celebrate the lives of survivors, remember the lives of those we have lost, and fight back so future generations never have to know life with cancer.
