5-8 hours/week:
We are a small non-profit arts organization looking for an intelligent and reliable Online Marketing Assistant to help with online marketing and content management. Help manage Twitter accounts, facebook pages, profile sites (wiki, IMDB, etc), and website accounts (through WordPress and FTP) which publicize blogs, feature artist profiles, share videos and post content from our programs (updated weekly). Job requires managing writers and content development schedules, posting pages, creating internal links, on-page search engine optimization and logging web metrics. Other duties might include web-traffic email correspondence, donation premium tracking/fulfillment, researching music and social change content for websites, and some input on media strategy.
Skills/Responsibilities Needed Include:
* Understanding of Social Media Websites & Related Apps/Programs
* Experience/Knowledge in WordPress (plus HTML, CSS coding)
* Experience working with FTPs
* Superb Writing/Grammar
* Great Attention to Detail
* Knowledge of Web/Google Analytics and Search Engine Optimization
* Manage/Edit Content on All Internal & 3rd Party Websites
* Recruit and Manage Volunteer Writers and Social Media Interns
* Keep a Consistent Flow of Relevant Content Released on Social Media Websites
* Ensure all Description & Bio/Credits Pages are Constantly Up-to-Date
* Embedding Media (music, videos, pictures)
Requirements:
* Minimum 2 years experience working in Marketing
* Graduate level student
