The Arkansas Crisis Center is looking for individuals who would like to Volunteer for the Crisis Line. If you feel you are good at listening to others and want to help callers that are dealing with everyday Crisis or Suicidal thoughts please apply. Training is provided, no experiance is necessary. Two Day training in office and online phone training required. Answering the lines may be done either in our offices or at home your choice. The ACC depends on Volunteers, they are the heart of our Crisis Services. If you do not feel you can answer the lines we have in office and event Volunteer oppertunities availavle as well.

We restore hope, empower people and save lives through suicide awareness and crisis intervention services for those experiencing crisis in Arkansas.

Description

The Arkansas Crisis Center is a leader in Suicide Prevention and Crisis Intervention. Our Crisis Hotline, and Crisis Chat services are operated by highly trained volunteers. The ACC provides a training program specific to the needs of the Center, that meet National Accreditation Standards. The ACC holds partnerships with the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline and Contact USA. The ACC Hotline and Onlife Chat serves all 75 counties in the great State of Arkansas. The ACC believes that listening to those in Crisis is a valuable rescorse that helps each individual caller to the Hotline or visistor to Crisis Chat.
