In Columbia and Newberry, our Palmetto Health Hospice Volunteers offer their time and support to staff in a variety of ways. Hospice volunteers can assist with administrative work, such as: data enty, filing, assembling charts, completion of Love Bags and Palmetto Roses for delivery to our new hospice patients at home and in our hospitals, build admission packets for our different programs, etc. For more information, call Lisa Hollis Truitt, Hospice Volunteer Program Manager at 803-296-3143.

Description
Volunteers, a vital part of the hospice team, give their time and emotional support to patients, their families, and the hospice staff. Hospice volunteers enjoy serving others with a compassionate attitude and a reassuring smile. Our active volunteers consist of full-time and part-time employed individuals, students, homemakers and retirees.
