DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATE: VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY supporting Executive Director/Physician
20-40 hours per week depending on your availability during normal business hours. Responsibilities include managing donor database, various ongoing mailings (donor thank yous and correspondence), identifying funding sources, assisting with fundraiser implementation, grant writing and various administrative responsibilities including filing, faxing, emailing. May also assist with research projects and be asked to organize, record and attend Monthly Board Meetings.

We seek creative, hands-on, independent, computer literate development associate. You will be one of 2 staff reporting directly to the Executive Director, a Physician and bench scientist, but the only Associate responsible for helping with administration & development efforts. Opportunity for exposure to ongoing laboratory research in his state-of-the-art fully equipped lab.

The research at MSRI focuses on developing a clearer understanding of fundamental mechanisms of the etiology and pathogenesis of MS. In addition, new therapeutic approaches to the disease and its complications are being carried out.
