ORGANIZATION: Women Empowering Women of Michigan

O n September 24, 2016, Women Empowering Women of Michigan will host the Tea for Advocacy event that will be held at the Richard A. Young Recreation Center. The event will include a light lunch, educational presentations, a hat contest, and a raffle. About 80 women from throughout the metro Detroit area will attend.

WEWOM, a local 501c3 nonprofit organization is devoted to improving the quality of people's lives through bridging the gap in communities between women, men, and children. We are advocates for breast cancer, domestic violence, homelessness, sisterhood, and literacy. We are seeking volunteers to help with serving, seating, kitchen help, and setup and clean up.
