Epilepsy

We are currrently recruiting for a fundraising committee. Would are looking for people who will bring fresh new ideas to our non-profit! You will also be a part of our volunteer group for our annual Super Run. This is a super hero themed race that attracts people (heros) of all ages!

We are looking for serious people to join us that love to help! Expereince with fundraising/races a plus but not nessecary we can all learn together!!

We will be having our first meeting the end of June to get to know everyone and discuss what we are looking for. I would like to hold monthly meetings when time permits for everyone and will also keep touch via email.

I know we are all busy so I would like to keep this as easy as possible. We will also have an annual volunteer party to say THANK YOU!

Mission Statement

The Foundation's mission is to increase epilepsy awareness in their community, support parents whose children have just been diagnosed, and aid efforts towards finding a cure. KARE provides scholarships, financial support, and other forms of aid to children with epilepsy and their families. We also grant wishes of children, teens and adults with epilespy.

Description

KARE Organization is an epilespy non-profit that is based in Hamilton, NJ. We acheive our mission but getting the community involved by putting together donation drives and getting the word out about epilespy and how important it is. We are also trying to break the stigma that is attached to epilespy and have those that have it not feel alone. We also grant wishes on another non-profit site for the epilepsy community. We pay for medication for those that could not afford it, we offer grants for seizure alert devices and collect items for Welcome Bags for kids inpatient at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.
