Cold Noses Foundation is a 501c3 non profit foundation dedicated to preventing animal suffering around the world by funding life-saving Veterinary, emergency relief and community outreach programs.

We are currently looking for one new Board member to act as a Veterinary advisor.

Applicicants should have a veterinary degree or a background in the veterinary field. (ex: a Veterinary Tech) and be able to consult on veterinary costs, procedures etc. Must be able to attend board meetings quarterly by phone if not in person in Massachusetts. Board members should expect to attend events 1-2 times per year for the organization.

Cold Noses Foundation, Inc. envisions a world of compassion and tolerance for all animals. Our mission is to decrease the amount of suffering in animals due to neglect, ignorance and cruelty. Through funding humane education programs, spay and neuter, veterinary care, emergency relief, and shelter wish list items, CNF helps to keep more animals in their homes and help those that are homeless find saftey in their communities and loving homes.

Description

Cold Noses Foundation, Inc. raises funds to support the work of shelters and rescues both locally and gloablly to end suffering and increase awareness. CNF funds the following program types:

-Low/No cost Spay and neuter

-Veterinary Care

- Humane Educational Programs

-Emergency Relief

-Shelter wish list items

CNF awards grants to non profits twice a year as well as sponsors a World Spay Day event in February to help promote low cost spay and neuter.
