ORGANIZATION: Sustainability Works!

Greener Good is looking for a blogger to write about plant identification. You may write about the science of plant ID and about individual plants and what makes them unique. We are especially interested in articles about native and edible plants.

This project would be for someone who has some knowledge of botany through professional or student education. We prefer if you can also take a photo of the plants you write about or be able to make drawings. Alternatively, you could work with our photo editor to find a public domain photo or have one of our illustrators draw it for you.

We ask that you blog weekly or twice per month.

Description

Sustainability Works was founded in 2007 and began as a community garden and tv show about sustainability. We now focus on succinct media for quick messaging on how to be sustainable. Our main focus is on botanical issues like pollinator gardens and backyard food crops. We believe that restoring native habitat, choosing the right garden plants, and the right to grow food plants in within our communities will go a long way in bringing clean air and clean water back. We strive to create vibrant films, photos, art, and other media that inspire people to get connect with nature.
