Are you bilingual? Would you like to help Habitat for Humanity reach more families in need of our help?
Habitat for Humanity Seattle - King County serves families from various and diverse backgrounds and we have a significant need for volunteers to translate written materials into other languages and interpret during meetings with families and community members. Currently we are looking for Dinka and Arabic. We have a family who would like to enter our homeownership program, but they need some in-person translation help during a few meetings in the application process. Dinka is their first choice, but Arabic would also work. Some spoken translation may be done over the phone, but often this would be in person in the Seattle area.

Description
Habitat for Humanity of Seattle-King County works to eliminate substandard housing through constructing, renovating and preserving homes; by advocating for fair and just housing policies; and by providing training and access to resources to help families improve their shelter conditions.
