Re-plate is a food recovery non-profit that delivers excess food from businesses to feed communities in need, instantly. We are growing quickly and are in immediate need of delivery drivers. We are seeking MULTIPLE candidates for this position. As part of our driver team, you will pick up food from our food donors, help package the food if need be, and deliver the food to nearby organizations in need. You will be instrumental in helping us 'drive out hunger' in the SF & the Bay Area!

This job is perfect for someone who is available for few shifts a week.

Requirements:
16+ years or older
Ideally available to work few hours each week
Have your own car
Have a valid driver license
Have up-to-date vehicle liability and bodily injury auto insurance
Punctual and reliable
Personable and love to help his/her community.

Description

Re-plate is a virtual market for surplus food. It enables people and businesses with excess food to post their food donation and people in need/nonprofits to claim the surplus food based on their need and location.

Re-plate also has a logistic component in the Bay Area. We partnered with ZeroCater, LinkedIn, DoorDash, GREE, Yelp and many other similar tech companies to recover their excess food. We currently recover more than 4200 LBS of food and create more than 3000 meals for people in need weekly.
