Helping Link is looking for an event Marketing Manager; someone who is creative and enthusiastic with great communication and organization skills to coordinate and plan the marketing of our 31st annual fundraising fundraising event this October.
Responsibilities:
- Brainstorm and develop ideas for creative marketing kits and campaigns for our annual fundraising event.
- Drive internal and external marketing activities by demonstrating expertise in content development, advertising and external marketing.
- Develop regular content for social media (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn) to promote our event.
- Work with cross-functional internal volunteer teams (graphic designers, communications, instructors, IT/web team, etc.)
Requirements:
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Possess strong and professional oral and written communication skills.
- Experience with marketing research and strategy development.
- Familiar with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Teams.
- Familiar with design tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
- Driver's License or Legal form of ID needed for Background Check.
- Must be at least 18 years of age to apply.
- Orientation and Training.
Weekly time commitment:
- Minimum of 4 hours/week
- Present - End of October
- Opportunities to continue as Marketing Manager Volunteer post-fundraising event

Description
Helping Link has been serving the Vietnamese-American immigrant community for twenty-five years. We provide English language, citizenship, and computer education classes for adults and seniors; job-site language training; information and referral services for our most vulnerable; and cultural events for the community. Our programs are offered in a bilingual context and in a supportive, family-friendly atmosphere.
