We are always in need of volunteers to help answer phones, assist with paperwork, event and fundraiser planning, etc. We have all sorts of fun activities for volunteers of all ages and interest level. Mission Statement
Builders Care is the non-profit arm of the Lee Building Industry Association (BIA). Our mission is to provide emergency construction services at no cost to needy and deserving elderly and disabled homeowners who cannot obtain repairs through traditional means.
Description
Founded in 2005, Builders Care enlists the expertise and labor of Building Industry Association members to offer a full range of home repair and renovation services. Our recipients are primarily elderly and homeowners with disabilities who are in financial need and are living with housing conditions that pose a safety or health threat. Builders Care exists to improve the quality of life for these deserving Lee County residents. For one, that means having doorways widened to accommodate a wheelchair. Another may need a roof replaced after it was damaged from a storm or it has outlived its useful age.
