The Teen Volunteer Library Advisory Board is a group of teen Sunnyvale Library volunteers, taking an active role in their library community and building leadership skills. This group of teens will give input on the teen collection, teen programming and ways for the library to connect with the teen community. They will attend a monthly meeting at the library, assist with children's programs, plan teen-run programs for the community, and help with assorted library tasks. Teens must be 13 to 18 years old, have a strong interest in the library, enjoy working with people of all ages and cultures and be willing to learn new skills. Membership requires attendance at meetings, participation in and support of library activities and events, and a sense of fun and adventure.
