Event Committee Chair
Minimum commitment: per agreed upon event, hours vary
Responsibilities of the Committee Chair
Lead the committee and chair its meetings
Work with staff to set up and facilitate meetings
Make a gift to the event
Actively solicit their contacts and those of the organization for underwriting, table and ticket purchases, in-kind goods and services, etc
Encourage Committee Members to make personally significant gifts to the event and to actively fundraise for it
Attend committee meetings
Actively solicit their contacts and those of the organization for underwriting, table and ticket purchases, in-kind goods and services, etc
Assume responsibility for specific event tasks
Provide services or guidance in their particular area of expertise
Provide support services to the Committee and support the Committee

OUR MISSION: Mirror Image Arts uses theatre as language to inspire dialogue, encourage awareness and promote action in order to build a strong, compassionate and empowered community.
Description
OUR VISION: Young people knowing and owning their value and purpose so they take responsibility for their impact.
WHO WE ARE: We use theatre as our vehicle to create a safe environment where participants can engage in open dialogue about important social issues. Our current focus is Bullying Prevention, but our programming concept is versatile. The Mirror Image Arts experience includes theatrically inspired artistic expression as well as critical thinking exercises such as Scholastic Problem Solving, root cause analysis and reflective processing. We believe that an empowered community has the power to affect positive social change. We are empowering our youth to generate change in the moment and see the value in their voices and the impact of their decisions.
