The Carrollton Library is currently seeking a volunteer to assist with marketing for the Friends of the Carrollton Library.
The Marketing Assistant would help spread the word within the community about library fundraisers and events such as the bi-annual book sale, pop-up book sales at local farmer's markets, craft classes, computer classes, etc. Other activities include attending the monthly meetings, creating posters, and advocating for the library online and at events.

Description
Blackwater Regional Library, a regional system comprising 9 branches and a bookmobile, originated from a single library facility: The Walter Cecil Rawls Library and Museum. On June 13, 1958, the facility was dedicated for the use of the people of Southampton County and nearby communities. Since then, the library system has acquired 8 more branches plus a bookmobile servicing the City of Franklin, Counties of Isle of Wight, Southampton, Surry, and Sussex.
