To improve the quality of life for workers, their families and the community at large by providing direct services and access to services to meet their basic needs and to empower to improve the community as a more responsive place to live, work, raise a family and retire.
Description
"ULAN" provides various programs to assist workers and their families who are facing hardship. These programs include: DIRECT EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE - to prevent homelessness, hunger, utility disconnections and to aid in obtaining health care needs, house hold items and costs pertaining to gainful employment; PANTRY PROGRAM - which includes food, cleaning supplies and hygiene products; INFORMATION AND REFERRAL PROGRAM - locating available nonprofit and government resources, prescreening clients for elgibility and making the appropriate referrals.
