Have you ever dreamed of being a chef? Think you'd do awesome on an episode of Chopped? Are you just a great home-cook who wants to help NYC's most vulnerable people get a delicious meal?
Come volunteer to play sous-chef with Chef Anthony at the Urban Outreach Center Tuesday evening Community Meal at @JanHusPC!
Each Tuesday night we serve a nutritious, home-cooked meal to 150 of our city's homeless men, women, and children. And we could use your help to get that meal on the table! Whether you're chopping up some veggies, stirring a soup, or helping to set-up the dining room, you can play a part in making New York a more hospitable and loving place.
This volunteer opportunity is every Tuesday from 3pm to 5:30pm at 351 E 74th Street in Manhattan. We have a max of two volunteers each week, but will gladly schedule a future date for volunteering, if we fill up!
