Rein in Sarcoma is looking for volunteers with a web development or server administration background to maintain, with our volunteer webmaster, Rein in Sarcom a's WordPress website. Volunteers should be local (available for quarterly team meetings in the Twin Cities), however, work would be done remotely. WordPress experience is ideal, but anyone with experience with other content management systems, or with web development in general is welcome. Familiarity with Linux server administration is necessary, as the site is hosted using Amazon Web Services (AWS). Aside from server administration, preferred candidates will be able to work with our webmaster to maintain and update content on the site. RELEVANT SKILLS: WordPress LAMP (Linux, PHP, Apache, MySQL) administration AWS (EC2, ELB).
Rein in Sarcoma is dedicated to educating the public and medical community about sarcomas, supporting sarcoma patients and their loved ones, and funding research directed toward developing new treatments and finding a cure for sarcoma cancers.

Description
The Rein in Sarcoma Foundation (KWRISF) is a resource for families touched by sarcomas, an uncommon and often lethal group of bone and soft tissue cancers that may strike children and younger adults, leaving an especially tender heartbreak. We seek to fund innovative, collaborative and high-impact sarcoma cancer research.
